How Does A House Sell Off-Market?

In the UK, an off-market sale refers to a property transaction that occurs without the property being publicly listed or advertised for sale. If you’d prefer to sell your market privately, this is a great option for you. Or perhaps you’re simply keen to sell quickly without having to factor in time to create marketing material.

If this is the right step for you and your property, then you’ll need to engage an agent with a network of potential buyers and investors in which a suitable buyer (or selection of buyers) can be contacted regarding the purchase.

Most of our clients love the marketing we produce for their properties and would like to go through the full process, but there are instances in which confidentiality is preferred and we are always able to help.

Working in the property industry for over twenty-four years, I have built a network of contacts in the UK and overseas that I’m incredibly proud of.

When I meet with a new or returning client to discuss a valuation and potential partnership to sell their home, I am always considering “what is best for you and your circumstances right now?” rather than, “how can I sell myself so that they choose me to be their agent?”

Often, your home needs an expert in the locality or someone able to provide widespread marketing. You may require an agent with experience in high-priced properties and negotiation. You may prefer an off-market sale.

I’m confident that my many years working in the industry teamed with my relentlessly honest approach can help you in your home moving experience, whether that is here in the UK or buying or selling overseas.

Heard of Hanworth Park?

We have recently taken on four properties in the Hanworth Park area. This is a community just outside Twickenham and Teddington that, surprisingly, many people are not aware of. Tucked away in TW13, just off the A316, Hanworth Park is made up of some beautiful family homes, not to mention schools, sports facilities, a cinema and a slice of history with Hanworth Park House.

The homes we have listed for sale on behalf of our clients are fantastic family homes, well-sized detached and semi-detached properties with scope to extend.

This fabulous property located on Moatside has bundles of potential and was simply waiting for the perfect owners to take it on. Luckily, I knew exactly who would jump at the opportunity, and it was quickly snapped up off-market with a reliable, motivated buyer.

This substantial five-bedroom home is now officially “under offer” after securing a great deal of interest from potential buyers. It could be the idyllic (not to mention extensive) rear garden, or it could be the opportunity to buy a family home and put one’s own stamp on it, but we knew we’d find a family to fall in love with it in no time at all.

New Listing Alert!

Our most recent listing in the area is a beautiful two-bedroom cottage set within a Grade II-listed development with beautiful communal gardens and grounds. This home is perfect for any history enthusiasts as it is situated within the sought-after Hanworth Park Estate, an area once used by King Henry VIII as a hunting lodge. There are plenty of wonderful features, including a beautiful bathroom with a standalone tub and a private front garden. Please do get in touch if you’d like to know more.

Off-Market Opportunity!

And last but certainly not least…

The fourth property we are now listing off-market is a beautifully presented detached, gated, five-bedroom, four-reception room family home with a garage and circa 2700 sqft living space.

This stunning home has the potential to loft, side and rear extend and boasts a large garden with plenty of space to build a separate dwelling (subject to planning permission).
