‘THE SOURCE OF KNOWLEDGE IS EXPERIENCE’
What has modelling, Metropolitan Police Service and fashion retail got in common with selling a house?
The answer is they all helped me fine tune my skills as an estate agent.
My first experience of buying a property was when I bought my first property in Kew, Richmond. Thankfully it was with a very experienced estate agent friend. Little did I know where this would lead?
Since January 2000 I have been learning and assisting clients in a multitude of scenarios amounting to millions of pounds worth of business across London. From Earlsfied, Putney, Chelsea to the Richmond Borough.
The skills I have most learnt from my earlier careers and throughout the 25 years is the absolute importance of customer service, embracing technology, hard-work, determination, honesty and transparency.
An estate agents experience comes through experience of learning through others, listening and embracing challenges.
The highlight of my journey thus far is the launch of – S.A Morton Real Estates in 2021, where I continue to learn, grow and embrace technology.
We are based in the Richmond Borough, where I have lived for over 30 years.
My vision for the company was to offer support within the community, so I am very proud to sponsor the Waldegrave netball and football kits, to have supported Trafalgar Schools and 2nd Teddington Scout Group with sponsor boards, presented at Waldegrave Careers Information Day, involved in work experience, donated to The Mall School Raffle and sponsored the ‘Basement Door’ stage at Twickenham High Tide for the second year in July!
I feel as passionate and excited about assisting my clients as I did in January 2000, when I first walked into the estate agents office in Garratt Lane, Earlsfield, London!
