I Did It!

On 29th March, I successfully completed the 75 Day Hard Challenge.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I was never NOT going to complete it – that’s just my personality. But I can admit that it certainly wasn’t an easy period of time.

Everyone who participates finds different elements challenging, depending on their current habits. For me, it was drinking water, as I detest the mundaneness of it.

I love to exercise, but finding the time for two workouts a day was a logistical struggle. And when one of the workouts HAS to be outdoors, I did question why I didn’t start the challenge in the summer! But Rosa needs to be outside as much as possible, and so I had two very big reasons for braving the wintry elements.

Luckily, we have Richmond Park on our doorstep, and I learned to love those frosty mornings. Whilst I already adored Richmond Park, my appreciation for the stunning landscape found there has grown tremendously.

I have always pursued personal development, but finding the time to read a book every single day previously felt impossible. In this challenge, it was one of the fundamentals. I’ve learned that it’s not about finding the time, it’s about making the time. I’ve also learned that I’m capable of great change in a moderately short space of time.

I’ve read three books, and I am currently engrossed in a fourth. I’ll share more about these another time.

I’ve progressed from “beginner” in step aerobics to “advanced”.

And I’m pretty impressed at how much I’ve enjoyed going out without the luxury of indulgent food or alcohol in the equation.

One day, a friend and I went to a rave, and I burned so many calories that it very easily qualified as one of my workouts for that day.

Of course, not a drop of alcohol passed my lips, and I had SO much fun. I highly recommend that everyone gives it a go.

But for me, the biggest discovery of all was my laser-sharp focus. With my health at the forefront, my body and my brain have performed better than ever before. And I’m so excited at how much my business has benefitted from these positive changes.

I’d love to hear the hardest challenge you have completed and how it made you feel afterwards! Click reply and share your story with me!

Thanks for reading,

Sara
